Corne's sculpture is in many ways, inverted Architecture, the interlocking and weaving spaces formed by the planes, some lit, some in deep shade, creating places for imaginary living. Whether her works are of painted wood, paint on paper, plastic or metal, the impossibility of the configurations demonstrate the possibilities of Habitat.

Folded, three-dimensional, re-organizations of paintings form cubes, combined in various combinations and permutations to create small or large-scale environments. The geometries are juxtapositions of simple forms, which in their repetition become highly complex constructs.
